Yes I’ve spent the past week celebrating! It only happens once a year so why not!? Us Leos aren’t known for being shy and retiring either!
On Friday night I invited a few close girlfriends out for cocktails and tapas – it was perfect – such a fun evening.
Shoes – Castañer // Dress – Zara // Bag – Gucci (similar here)
With a mild hangover on Saturday, my fabulous family took me to me favorite Mexican spot for lunch and margaritas.
Dress – WhoWhatWear by Target // Shoes – H&M // Necklace – H&M
Tomorrow I’m being taken for lunch then dinner by my gorgeous husband. It’s a good job I’m back in the gym – Slimming World has been on hold this week 😉
As for this evening I’ll be cracking open one of my gifts – a bottle of champagne – and toasting the start of being 45 – my late 40s – and feeling better than ever!
Happy Birthday lovely lady. You look fab, fit and amazing. Hope you have an amazing day tomorrow. Loving the Zara dress, I need to get my legs in shape to wear this. By the way look up a Facebook page called “totes inappropes” it’s a lady from timperley who writes a blog on Facebook, it’s hilarious. I’m sure with your northern sense of humour you would love it.

I started following her – I love her!!! I figure as long as my legs are in shape I can wear a sack at least 😉 xx

Nothing like ekking out the birthday celebrations, good on you! Great Zara dress, really flattering. Happy birthday!
Ha why not – we have fewer of them to enjoy as we get older lol so I may as well enjoy the ones I have left! xxx
You look FABulous – ABsolutely. Sounds like your birthday was on par with how great, healthy and tanned you look.
Thank you Yvonne – can’t beat some good false tan on the legs to make them work harder:) I feel great – getting older isn’t that bad! xx

Ahh thank you so much!! I wore another super short dress last night and felt pretty fabulous in it! Confidence comes with age in many cases – or just not giving a hoot 😉
You look great! I love this look on you. I also turned 45 in June and was feeling my fittest best prior to 45 and now a few health issues popped up!! Ugh, slow and steady wins the race I guess.
These things crop up don’t they – I definitely feel more vigilant about maintaining a healthier lifestyle! I try and get more sleep and exercise and less wine and calories! My husband turns 50 in October and you would never know it – he is fit as a fiddle! xx
