Are you ready? I am sort of…I just have to wrap everything and assemble a damn dolls house! Writing that makes me realize I’m not ready at all! So in the frenzy of Advent here is a quick outfit post.
Yesterday morning it was my son’s Kindergarten Holiday program. It was beautiful – they sang songs for Chanukah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, Chinese New Year and Las Posadas – wonderfully multi-cultural. He was the only boy in sweats and sneakers – I must remember the slacks, sports jacket and loafers for next year.
I made sure my piercings were on full show for the PTA by wearing my hair behind my ears with a baseball cap.
Sneakers – Golden Goose // Jeans – Diesel Fayza Jogg Jeans // Shirt – Gap // Cardigan – AllSaints // Cap – J.Crew
Last night I went out for drinks and appetizers with two wonderful girlfriends. We bought tickets for the Mega Millions draw, which I refuse to check today just so I can pretend I won for a little longer.
Boots – Stuart Weitzman Highland // Jeans – Gap jeggings (similar here) // Tank – H&M // Sweater – AllSaints (old – similar here)
Try and enjoy this coming week – take a moment to relish friends and family at this fun time of the year. It’ll be 2014 before we know it.
Not ready here either – I also bought a couple of mega millions tickets – no luck but one of the big winners was in Atlanta so you never know you could be a millionaire
I heard that! See it could be me!! I better get looking at houses on the Med:)
Oh every time I see that All Saints cardigan, I regret not buying it!
Also, thanks for the ASOS tip-off – my parka wardrobe gap has been filled….hopefully! Enjoy the next few days – I’m stuck in bed with a horrible dose so I’m being forced to chill and it’s no bad thing xx
Oooh a nice parka – Mango have some lovely ones their sale started today:) Feel better soon lovely, Happy Christmas!!! xx
Loving the hair and make up in the “out with the girls” photos. Don’t shoot me, but I think I’m organised here (for once), if I don’t message before christmas, I hope you and your loved ones have a perfect christmas and an even more perfect new year.
Diane
Thanks Diane!!! My makeup application is getting much better after following Maskcara.com! I really appreciate all your support over the past 2 years – have a fantastic Christmas and a Happy 2014!! x
As always – beautifully stylish!
Do not make me start panicking – we have not completed buying presents, we have not bought any food and we haven’t wrapped!
Have a wonderful Christmas and look forward to seeing you next year!

Thanks love – can’t wait to see you again!!!! Have a fabulous Christmas with your family. Love you xxx
Hi Joanna I spent a very pleasant evening surfing your blog last night. One thing that struck me is how much your style has evolved (in a good way) in such a short time. So much edgier. Merry Xmas to you and yours x
It has hasn’t it!! 2 years ago I lived in Boden tunics and leggings! After my pregnancies and gaining weight I hated shopping so much so it was so easy just to order comfy stuff once I started loosing the weight. It took me a while to find myself again. I have no fear of trying new looks these days – but I used to hate shopping for clothes when nothing fit. I love looking a little different to the typical Atlanta Mom:) I feel so comfortable in my own skin these days instead of dressing how I think I should – I dress how I want to:) xx
