I’m talking about H&M. My local branch here usually looks likes a jumble sale. If I see something online I can guarantee I will NEVER find it in store, and vice versa. However, recently when I have taken the chance online without trying, I have more than often been pleasantly surprised. I swear the in store merchandising can make everything feel SO cheap. Trying it in the comfort of your own home, with your own accessories etc. can make the world of difference. My biggest gripe though is the restocking/return fee – that is just wrong – hide it in the price – don’t penalize me for returning something!!
So here goes – things I want to take the chance on, or already have, from H&M this season!
I will go a million miles for a great pair of harem pants and here are THE perfect pair of harem joggers. I am waiting patiently for the charcoal grey to come into stock.
I’m sure you have already all caught on to the new cropped flare jeans. Super flattering and they look perfect with sneakers, ankle boot and sandals. Not looking for the J.Brand price? Well check out these two options from H&M – I rate their jeans highly – and both these styles are available in blue or charcoal denim.
And this jacket…I ummed and ahhed over this Marantesque jacket yesterday. Needless to say my Facebook pals all told me I was foolish to leave without it…
I have to say I have bought high and low with workout gear. I LOVE dressing up for the gym. It really helps motivate me…shallow I know…but H&M’s sportswear performs, looks great and is a great price point.
Finally – I posted this on instagram the other day – for me it is the perfect blend of masculine tailoring and feminine detailing. A shirt with a tie waist.
So do you shop at H&M – online or in store? I personally find UK stores just as overwhelming but with a much better selection of stock…?
As for the past couple of days I have been enjoying freezing cold weather thanks to my M&S coats!
I really love H&M’s boys’ clothes and tend to buy my hats there! The clothes sizing’s way off though and there have been quite a few Mumsnet threads about that. That said, I purchased a floral summer top last year and absolutely *loved* it. Ho hum.
I agree – I love their kids clothing too – it’s perfect for Poppy as an inbetweener – not too grown up and not too girly! Hugh will only wear H&M jeans…Their sizing is totally random and does making ordering online a challenge – I am a medium in a lot of their leggings and loungewear but can be a US 10 or 12 in their pants and tops…’fraid the last place I get my information from is Mumsnet 🙂
Oh I love a bit of H&M. I think I just ordered something today now that the delivery has speeded up. I would have been in the shops but I was at home nursing a poorly boy so whilst having a coffee, I had a browse – always lethal!
I love them too – great disposable fashion – I used to love them for a party frock that I knew I was only going to wear once or twice! Their knitwear has been brilliant this year and I’ve always maintained that their jeans are some of the best on the high street xx
I can’t believe you didn’t get the jacket! It looked so good on you! My local H&M is like a jumble sale too and I think the staff hide in the changing rooms as you can never find anyone to serve you.
Ha that’s funny! There is never one around and all the stuff I want to try is normally the highest thing on the wall!! I have to look around for one of their poles to get them down myself – of course my size is always hidden away too! Don’t worry the jacket did come home with me – I was told I’d be a fool if I left without it – we were doing realtime show and tell – so I was swayed to bring it home:) xx
