Jet lagged. Very. Why does it affect me more coming back this way? Managed to survive Hugh’s party yesterday though, only just, then devoured a mountain of pizza to feel better. Very fuzzy today and I have a drum kit to assemble tonight for the birthday boy!
Jacket – Boden tweed jacket (old) // Trousers – J.Crew wool café capris in guava // Jumper – Boden sparkle Skye jumper // Boots – Acne Pistols.
Those Crew pants are just gorgeous! Love the color!
Thanks – I just wish it was warm enough here to wear ballet flats with them!!
You’re a good mum… and a chic one for being so jet-lagged. I wouldn’t have known! Welcome home!
It’s quite nice having my full closet to choose from again! Just wish it was warmer here!
Love that look on you! Funny – I loved it when you last wore that jacket too. Great with the red trousers too. Not looking at all jet-lagged. Hope you feel better in a couple of days, Avril xx
It’s a lovely jacket and one I’ve thought about selling but each time I come to list it I can’t bare to let it go so it must be a keeper! It goes well with so much in my closet! Off to work out and get the brain and legs working again! xx
My son’s birthday is in less than 2 weeks (I just realized) and I have nothing planned. How has this happened? I’m usually so ‘with it.’ I love your jacket. Such a classic piece!

Love the pop of colour from your trousers – nice and cheery for a spring day! Even though you aren’t wearing ballet flats I do like your boots with them – great way to get to wear the trousers even when it is cooler. Hope your jet lag wears of soon, I find fresh air and exercise help too. How did your packing go? I hope you managed to squeeze all your wonderful purchases in!
Jet lag is hateful. I can’t even imagine jet lag combined with a five year old’s birthday party! Hope he had a great time and that you feel ‘normal’ again soon. Helen
You are good – managing a birthday party with jet lag and everything.
I see you have added a bit of an English touch with the tweed jacket – I bet you love having your full wardrobe to choose from.
