I’m sneaking in 5 minutes to myself to do this post. Remind me – the other day I said things slowed down in the summer? Not so today – camp, dentist appointments for the kids, lunch, then a play date here for Poppy. Doesn’t sound too much does it, but I feel like I’ve already earned my wine. I’m telling you stay at home Moms/Dads are goddesses/gods in my eyes. I do not have the requisite levels of patience to do this every day:) Having said that I’m having much fun watching them wear each other out in the paddling pool outside.
My kids finish tomorrow – and then the crazy begins – my son leaves for Boy Scout camp on Friday for staff training weekend (they’re paying him this year to attend and be a counselor!!) then he’s off on June 7th for the best part of 6 weeks….with the occasional day home no doubt to deposit laundry!! My daughter has a week off from activity and then begins two volunteer jobs in two different hospitals (she’s going to be a candy striper!) and then summer ballet classes. I’m going to enjoy the peace and quiet of next week and reserve my energy for the weeks that are following!! Wine sounds like a fine idea:-) Hope you guys have wonderful summer (now that the sun has decided to shine!).
It’s madness isn’t it? Only good thing is the mornings start much more slowly – I LOVE an extra hour in bed! We have 3 weeks of tennis camp then off back to England and Cyprus for the summer so I’m already stressing about packing for 4 for 2 climates! SO envious of your daughter – I did work experience in a Hospital when I was 15 – hated it – spent the week filing!!
Hair looks amazing today! I have those ‘sneakers’ and I wore mine today!
So funny you say that – I felt like it was a ‘good hair day’ today as soon as I styled it today! It is growing!!!
Perfect outfit for hanging out with the kids whilst being comfy and stylish. I on the other hand didn’t change out of my joggy bots till 5pm when I was going out. Infact the boys and I all wore matching joggy bots from H&M. Sad.
